Sample GEO Report scorecard with eight readiness categories

How it works

From address to fixes.

  1. 01

    Classify

Pages are grouped by type and template, so a 5,000-SKU catalog is judged efficiently.

  2. 02

    Check

Deterministic checks read the rendered page: access, schema, facts, links and next steps.

  3. 03

    Judge

Anchored AI judgment scores answers and evaluability, each with its own confidence.

  4. 04

    Review

A person reviews findings and fix priorities before the report is sent.

Questions

About the report.

What is a GEO Report?

GEO stands for generative engine optimization. The GEO Report scores every page of a storefront for AI-engine and shopping-agent readiness across eight plain-language categories, combining deterministic checks with anchored AI judgment, and lists fixes in priority order.

How are pages scored?

Each indicator is 0-100 and rolls up into category scores with A-F grades. Every score carries a separate confidence value. Unknown is never counted as zero and never as a pass; categories that don't apply to a page type leave the calculation.

Does a good score mean ChatGPT will cite us?

No. The report measures readiness: whether AI readers can reach, understand, verify and act on your pages. Observed citations are a separate outcome metric. Nobody can honestly promise placement in an AI answer.

What do you need from us?

Your production storefront address and a work email. The report reads public pages only, so there is no login, plugin or payment needed. Staging sites that block crawlers will read as blocked.

What happens after I submit?

A person reviews the findings before anything is sent, then you receive the report with prioritized fixes and an optional walkthrough. Large catalogs are sampled by page type and template so the report stays fast and affordable.

Can Forge fix what the report finds?

Yes. Fix drafts can be generated from the report, grounded in your account knowledge, but they never publish themselves. Your team reviews and publishes through Forge or the ForgeAEO plugin.
